Elba Ramalho, the daughter of the Northeast of Brazil, born in the high areas of the dry lands of Paraiba, under the sign of Leo. She was lucky to have a father who was a musician who awakened her interest in music early in life.

Raised in the Northeast, Elba had a diversity of rhythms from this sunny region as school books: the baião, the maracatu, the xote, the frevo, the pastoral, the caboclinhos and the forrós. Musical genres that preserve pureness while, at the same time, create new dynamics in popular culture and influenced all Brazilian music.
